Providing Assistance: Meeting with displaced persons in Kachin State

Union Consultative Council member Daw Dwe Bu and Kachin State Ministers met with the displaced people from Wine Maw, Chi Phwe and Bamaw Townships, temporarily sheltered at 9 IDP camps in Man Khein Ward of Myitkyina on Sunday.

The Council Member called for the active participation of the relevant individuals in nation’s restoring peace and stability process and gave words of encouragement. Then, the officials provided 200 rice bags to the 609 households from 9 IDP camps. Following this, words of appreciation was made on behalf of the displaced persons. Upon the needs presented, the council member coordinated requirements.
