The Hpa-an Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Center of the Myanmar Red Cross Society has suspended temporarily its services for the disabled people in Kayin and Mon State, Taninthayi Region, Kayah State and Bago Region (East) during the COVID-19 Containment Period.

Now the safe temporary factory has been opened starting 18th May because of the increasing numbers of those who need the services and the free services are being provided, it is learnt.

The current services are being given to those nearby Hpa-An who need to fix the prosthetic legs in emergency. The temporary workshop is built in line with the guide lines of the Ministry of Health and Sports in order not to infect the disease to the health staffs and those who receive services during COVID-19 period.  The services are given to about 15 persons for a week.
