Project Bank: Website Launching Ceremony Held In Nay Pyi Taw

Launching Ceremony for Project Bank Website was held in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday. Union Minister for Planning, Finance and Industry U Soe Win made a speech at the ceremony, and formally launched the Project Bank Website. Deputy Minister U Sett Aung also clarified about the Project Bank.

The Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry is implementing the Project Bank which is an interactive and publicly accessible database. It includes the project plans to develop to implement the Myanmar Sustainable Development Plan (MSDP) and its Strategic Action Plans.

The Project Bank is to facilitate the effective, coordinated and transparent implementation of these projects.

It will also provide a list of prioritized projects, particularly infrastructure projects, for public consumption so that the flow of development assistance, the allocation of the budget, and the participation of private sector can be strategically aligned with the goals and strategies contained within this MSDP.
