The Ministry of Health and Sports issues an order in line with the provisions granted to it by Article 21-(b) of the Prevention and Control of Communicable Diseases Law.

It stated that the Ministry has issued necessary orders and directives to curb the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and to implement preventive measures.

It has been observed that transnational transmission of COVID-19 has lessened, positive cases only arise from people returning from foreign nations, regional authorities are systematically quarantining and monitoring people who have returned from overseas, active health awareness campaigns conducted among the public, and active participation in disease prevention processes by township administration bodies, medical officials, relevant departments, volunteers and members of the public. In that regard, more prerequisites and locations have been added to the Ministry's Order No. 37/2020, issued on 16th April, allowing gatherings of 5 or more persons.

These facts included working in government departments, organizations, companies, factories, and workplaces, Government schools, private schools, monastic education schools, holding seminars, meetings and training courses in government departments, organizations, companies, factories, and workplaces in line with recommendations issued by the Ministry.

It also included eating at restaurants permitted to operate by the local governments in line with recommendations issued by the Ministry and working in essential businesses, public services, and essential public businesses outlined in the notification issued by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population on 3rd May.
