President Xi meets with DRC President

President Xi Jinping in his talks with visiting President of the African country Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo in Beijing on Friday, said China is ready to align development strategies with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

At the invitation of Xi, Tshisekedi is paying a state visit to China from May 24 to 29. Xi hailed the fruitful cooperation achieved by the two countries, adding the two sides have forged a close community of shared interests and shared future.

The two presidents announced the elevation of the bilateral relationship from a strategic partnership of win-win cooperation to a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
