President Stopped by Rajasthan of India : President met with State Minister for Medicine and Health

President U Min Aung Hlaing of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, departed from Nay Pyi Taw Airport in the morning on August 17 by special aircraft for an official visit to the Russian Federation.

Subsequently, the high-level Myanmar delegation led by the President arrived at Jaipur  International Airport in the state of Rajasthan, Republic of India, at 10:00 AM local time.

They were welcomed at the airport by the Rajasthan State Minister for Medicine and Health, Gajendra Singh , along with officials from the state government, and Myanmar's Defense Attaché (Army, Navy, Air) Brigadier General Zaw Moe Lwin and responsible officials.

Afterward, the President met with the Rajasthan State Minister for Medicine and Health at the airport lounge. During the meeting, the President discussed matters regarding his official visit to India in June at the invitation of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of the Republic of India, and the progress made in discussions to further enhance friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and India during that visit.

They also cordially exchanged views on the extensive people-to-people contacts between the two countries, the current state of bilateral relations which are at their best in the region, the prospects for continuing to strengthen bilateral cooperation, and ongoing efforts to increase border trade.

Following this, the President and the Rajasthan State Minister for Medicine and Health, Gajendra Singh, exchanged commemorative gifts. Subsequently, the high-level Myanmar delegation led by the President continued their departure from Jaipur International Airport to the Russian Federation.

They were seen off at the airport by the Rajasthan State Minister for Medicine and Health, officials from the state government, and Myanmar's Defense Attaché (Army, Navy, Air) and responsible officials, it’s reported.
