Preparations to Install Container Houses: MoHT UM inspected the preparation process

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Kyaw Soe Win accompanied by Deputy Minister and officials, on May 21, inspected the ongoing preparations for the installation of container houses at the office compound of the Nay Pyi Taw Hotel Entrepreneurs Association located in Dekkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw.

The container houses each containing one bedroom were allocated by the National Disaster Management Committee to provide temporary accommodation for ministry staff and their families affected by the earthquake. During the inspection, responsible officials explained the preparation status for the installation of the container houses, as well as the organized storage of the units.

The Union Minister then inspected the land clearing being carried out for the installation of the container houses and the orderly storage conditions. He instructed relevant officials to expedite the relocation of staff and their families currently living in the temporary tents to the container houses as soon as possible.
