Preparations for Election: UEC held a coordination meeting

Chairman of Union Election Commission U Ko Ko gave a remark at  a coordination meeting on the electoral process and the population list held at the UEC meeting hall in the morning on Thursday.

In his remark, the UEC Chairman U Ko Ko said that the correct voter list is important in an election, the commission is carrying out at all level for the correct voter list, the voter list management system was developed with the collaboration of the UEC e-Government Department and the Ministry of Science and Technology, by using that system, the basic population list collected as the pilot project till Agust of 2022 was put into the server. The trial voting has been conducted for four times.

Currently, the population list of those who have been full  of 18 years sent by the ground enumeration supervising committee is being put into the entry list of the townships using (Admin and DEO Software) and the Central Voters List Management System (CVLMS) and allocating of polling stations.

Next, the UEC member U Aung Lwin Oo clarified the necessary matters in the electoral process. Then, the electoral officers from the Regions, States and Union Territory sub-election commissions reported the allocation plans of polling stations, implementation with CVLMS with the Power point and the electoral officers from Chin State through Video conference and the commission members supplemented necessaries.

Regarding with the clarifications, the responsible officials from the General Administration Department under the ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Immigration and Population explained and the permanent secretary of UEC office clarified the administrative matters. Then, the attendees discussed the General matters and the UEC Chairman gave a speech of conclusion.
