Premier multinational air exercise Tarang Shakti 2026 commences

The second edition of the Indian Air Force’s premier multinational air exercise Tarang Shakti 2026 commenced at Jodhpur Air Force Station in Rajasthan from Saturday. Eight friendly foreign countries, including Australia, France, Germany, UAE and the USA are participating in the exercise, while 32 nations are attending as observers.

The American Air Force would be flying for the first time on Indian soil with their F35. The objective is to enhance mutual understanding of tactical air power application and strengthen interoperability among participating air forces. The exercise will conclude on 12 October.
