Pope Leo XIV prays for the victims of Venezuela earthquake

Following the devastating twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela, Pope Leo XIV has expressed his profound closeness to the affected population, offering both prayers and immediate material support. Pope Leo XIV sent an initial emergency donation of 100,000 euros through the Office of the Papal Almoner to express solidarity with the Venezuelan people.

The funds were allocated through the Dicastery for the Service of Charity. The relief is being coordinated directly on the ground.
