






The event of collective banana plantation, conducted under the supervision of the Magway Region Government, was held on the morning of August 15 at the No. 1 Basic Education High School compound in Minbu. The ceremony was attended by Magway Region Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko, who delivered a speech.
At the banana plantation event, Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko stated that by personally cultivating, producing, and supplying fresh, nutritious crops within the school environment, it would greatly benefit the health of students. He also gave necessary instructions to the relevant school principals, teachers, and responsible officials to systematically nurture and maintain the banana plantations for long-term success and productivity.
Subsequently, for the nutritional development of students and the greening of the school environment, the Chief Minister and responsible officials encouraged the collective planting of a total of 234 tissue-culture banana seedlings at the school's banana plantation event.
Afterward, Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko and responsible officials went to the Minbu District People’s Hospital hall to meet with hospital officials.
There, the Regional Director of the Regional Department of Public Health and Medical Services and the District People’s Hospital Superintendent presented explanations regarding medical treatments being provided within the hospital, the hospital's cleanliness and the hospital's operational activities.
Upon the presentations, the Chief Minister provided supplementary guidance and necessary directives. He then warmly met with patients receiving medical treatment at the hospital, offering words of encouragement. The Region Government provided supplies, giving each of the 59 patients a bunch of bananas, a carton containing 10 eggs, and cash contributions respectively, it’s reported.
