Physical Fitness: Football for Schools Program launched in Bago

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win attended the Football For Schools Program launching ceremony at Basic Education High School No. (1) in Bago on Friday.

During the event, the Chief Minister said the program helps children develop football skills while fostering teamwork, discipline, leadership, respect and decision-making abilities.

He noted that FIFA and the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) are working together to teach football fundamentals to basic education students in line with the President’s guidance.

It was followed by the presentation of FIFA-donated No. 4 footballs by MFF’s Vice President U Khun Naung Myint Wai. The Chief Minister and officials later observed Football For Schools training sessions conducted by physical education teachers.
