Peru holds military parade in Lima to mark Independence Day

Peru celebrated its 205th Independence Anniversary with the Grand Civic-Military Parade on Wednesday. Led by President Keiko Fujimori in Lima's Jesús María district, the event featured the Armed Forces, National Police, and traditional cultural displays. The participants included around 7,000 personnel, including army cadets, specialized police squads, and historical defense units.
