Pension & Cash Aid: 60,000 Kyats Each Provided To Senior Citizens

Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement has been providing social pension and cash aid to the elderly. In Hlaing Township of Yangon Region, 30,000 Kyats for 3 months as social pension and another 30,000 Kyats as assistance in the COVID-19 period are being provided to each of senior citizens aged over 85.

In Hlaing Township, there are 218 senior citizens, according to the Information and Public Relations Department.
