Peace Process: NSPNC meets with DKBA in Nay Pyi Taw

National Solidarity and Peace-making Negotiation Committee held talks with the Democratic Kayin Benevolent Army (DKBA) in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday as part of ongoing peace efforts.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Committee Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naing, and committee members, while the DKBA delegation was led by Commander-in-Chief Saw Shwe Wa. Both sides discussed regional stability, long-term peace, development, education, healthcare, border security, and cooperation to combat online scam operations. They also talked about reopening schools, improving public services, and strengthening coordination to reduce conflict. The meeting concluded with both sides signing a record of discussions.
