Paying Respects: C-in-C Pays Respects to the remains of Zaygon Sayadaw

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Friday evening paid respects to the remains of State Ovadacariya Presiding Nayaka of Maha Withutayama Zaygon Pariyatti Buddhist Learning Centre in Pyinmana of Nay Pyi Taw Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Sayadaw Dr. Bhaddanta Kavisara at Zaygon Monastery.

The Commander-in-Chief also paid respects to Ovadacariya Sayadaws.

At Zaygon Monastery, State Ovadacariya Presiding Nayaka of Maha Withutayama Zaygon Pariyatti Buddhist Learning Centre in Pyinmana of Nay Pyi Taw Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Sayadaw Dr. Bhaddanta Kavisara taught Buddhist scriptures to about 300 members of Sangha. Sayadaw who also established Buddhaw Taw Ya Yeiktha passed away, aged 95, vasa 75.
