Paying Homage: PM inspects renovation of Mawtinzun Pagoda

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited Maw Tin Zun Pagoda in Haigyi Kyun of Ayeyawady Region on Wednesday, and offered flowers and water to the pagoda. He later inspected the extension of the pagoda’s platform and renovation works.

The Chief Minister explained the phase by phase implementation of the construction works. The Prime Minister gave instructions to carry out the tasks by making thorough consideration since the buildings are historic and ancient religious edifices.

The Prime Minister later viewed the documentary photos of renovation of the pagoda in successive eras. They then inspected the maintenance of ancient religious buildings in the pagoda compound. The Prime Minister also made cash donation for all round renovation of the pagoda.
