Paying Homage: MoRAC Union Minister meets Shwedagon Pagoda Board of Trustees

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko met members of Shwedagon Pagoda Treasury Board of Trustees on Sunday.

On the occasion, the Union Minister called for following disciplines and rules, renovation of old wood carvings on the pagoda platform, display of old statutes and images and discussed academic affairs of offspring of the staffs and security affairs.

Later, members of the Treasury Board of Trustees of the Pagoda discussed gold foil offering, security matters, formation of the staffs and staff affairs on which the Union Minister gave necessary instructions.

The Union Minister and officials then paid homage to the pagoda and visited around there.
