Participating in Peace Talks: NMSP Peace delegation arrives in Nay Pyi Taw

With the aim for achieving perpetual peace in the entire nation and ceasing armed conflicts, Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing called for peace talks with ethnic armed organizations on 22nd April.

A peace delegation led by Vice Chairman of the New Mon State Party (NMSP) Nai Aung Min arrived in Nay Pyi Taw Sunday via Mawlamyaing.

On arrival at the Horizon Lake View Resort in Nay Pyi Taw, the NMSP Chairman and delegates were welcomed by member of National Sol­idarity and Peace Negotiation Committee and officials, ethnic people from the Department of Culture by holding the Myanmar miniature flags and placards saying "Achieving Perpetual peace is the genuine aspiration of the entire people", "Ensuring peace is the true desire of all citizens", "let's hold talks for peace in the Union", "Only when the ethnic nationalities are unity, will peace, stability and tranquility be achieved."
