Parliamentary Affairs: Speaker meets with ILC delegation

Pyithu Huttaw Speaker U Khin Yi met with teachers and students from the International Leadership College (ILC) after they observed 21st day meeting of Hluttaw session in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

During the meeting, the Speaker explained the role of Hluttaw, including its responsibilities in legislation, representing the public and supporting national development. He also highlighted the importance of education and encouraged young people to engage with Hluttaw and contribute to the country's future.

The Speaker added that Hluttaw plans to organize youth forums, discussion programs and "Open Parliament" activities to promote greater public participation. The event concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which students asked about Hluttaw's functions, the legislative process and education-related issues.
