Paper Reading Session: Commemorative event to mark the Full Moon Day of Kasone

Paper Reading session marking the Full Moon Day of Kasone (Buddha Day) organized by the State Administration Council was held at the Aggadhipati Sasana Beikman of Maravijaya Buddha Park in Nay Pyi Taw on 11th of May.

The event was graced by Chairmen Sayadaws including Rector Sayadaws of State Pariyatti Sasana Universities (Yangon and Mandalay), Speaker Sayadaws, Union Ministers and officials.

Prior of the event, Chairmen Sayadaws, Rector Sayadaws of State Pariyatti Sasana Universities (Yangon and Mandalay) delivered the Ovada Gahta. Then the Speaker Sayadaws read out the papers and replied the queries raised by the attendees.

Next, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin offered certificate of honors and cash of honors to the chairmen Sayadaws and Speaker Sayadaws. The event was concluded after delivering speech by the Chairman Sayadaw and Rector Sayadaw of International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University.
