20 panda cubs made their public debut at the Wolong National Nature Reserve in southwestern China on Monday. The panda toddlers, ranging from 120 to 190 days old, were seen crawling on snow through toy sleds and skis at the debut ceremony, marking the Year of the Tiger and the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics.

The China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Pandas in Sichuan Province said in 2021, 10 female pandas were selected for a breeding plan to maintain good genetic diversity with artificial breeding. There are currently 356 pandas living in the Center.
