





Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Khin Yi attended a ceremony to honour 9 townships of Yangon Region which successfully implemented the Pan Khin Project issuing National Registration cards and household lists.
In his address at the ceremony, the Union Minister stressed the importance of holding National Registration cards and household lists and rights, expressed words of thanks to concerned departments and called for cooperation on e-ID system.
Also, Yangon Region Chief Minister explained plans and assistance for the successful implementation of the Pan Khin Project. This Ceremony continued with presenting certificates of honour to the 9 townships which are Puzundaung, Kyauktada, Pabedan, Latha, Lanmadaw, Ahlon, Dagon, Seikkyi Khanaungto and Kokokyun.
Also, 50 computers were provided for the e-ID project. After the ceremony, the Union Minister attended a discussion on the e-ID system and made explanations, observed the National Registration cards data making process and gave necessary instructions.
The Union Minister also met with concerned officials and stressed the Government’s 5-point road map, Pan Khin Project and e-ID system.
