Pagodas Reopen: Pagodas In Pyapon Township Reopen After Temporary Closure

Pagodas in Pyapon Township of Ayeyawaddy Region have reopened since Sunday after temporary closure amid COVID-19 concerns.

COVID-19 preventive measures including hand-wash basin setting, body temperature testing and social distancing are being practiced under the instruction by the Ministry of Health and Sports.

Visitors to the pagodas are asked to wear masks. The pagodas in the township area were closed for 3 months, according to the Information and Public Relations Department.
