Ordinance.7/2026 : Community peace and rule of law

The President's Office issued Ordinance.7/2026 on October 18. In an effort to restore normalcy with administration mechanism, community peace and rule of law in the townships, the Ordinance 3/2026 was issued on 21st July 2026.

This ordinance shall remain in force for a period of 90 days from today, with the exception of Ngazun in Mandalay Region and Kyaukme and Thibaw in Shan State, where administrative, community peace and stability, and rule of law processes have returned to normal conditions.

The ordinance was declared according to Section 212 (d) of the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and with the approval at the sixth day meeting of the third regular session of Pyidaunsu Hluttaw, held on October 16, 2026. The ordinance was signed by President U Min Aung Hlaing.
