








The opening ceremony for the 2026–2027 academic year Certified Business Accounting Training Course was held Tuesday morning at the Cooperative Bookkeeping and Accounting Vocational Training School in Pathein, Ayeyawady Region. Attending the ceremony were Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Aye Kyaw, region ministers, departmental officials, and trainees.
First, the Region Chief Minister stated that the Certified Business Accounting Training Course was being opened with the objectives of enabling those who face difficulties in continuing their education to earn a livelihood through bookkeeping and accounting skills, and of creating opportunities for outstanding trainees to continue their studies through bridge programs to cooperative colleges and universities specializing in cooperative and management studies.
Afterwards, the principal of the Cooperative Bookkeeping and Accounting Vocational Training School (Pathein) explained the preparations made for opening the Certified Business Accounting Training Course. The Region Chief Minister and region ministers then presented honorary awards, textbooks, and school supplies to students who achieved distinctions in all subjects. In addition, the Chairman of the Ayeyawady Region Cooperative Society Limited provided financial support for the food expenses of the trainees.
Following the ceremony, the Region Chief Minister and officials visited the Basic Education and Industrial, Agricultural, and Livestock High School in Kangyidaunt Township, Pathein District. There, they observed students studying peacefully, gave necessary guidance and instructions to responsible officials, and provided exercise books and eggs for the students. They also coordinated and arranged the necessary support measures, it’s reported.
