Opening of AFC coaching course: Kachin State CM gave opening speech

The AFC Futsal Level-1 Coaching Certificate Course 2025 opening ceremony, jointly organized by the Kachin State Department of Sports and Physical Education, the State Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee, and the State Football Association, was held at 5:00 PM on June 8 at the conference hall of the Kachin State Department of Sports and Physical Education. The course aims to promote structured and systematic futsal training and development across the state.

At the start of the event, the course trainees introduced themselves, followed by an opening speech by the Chief Minister of Kachin State.

Next, U La Aung, Chairman ofKachin State Football Association, explained the objectives of opening the course. Head coach U Nyi Nyi Latt then presented details of the training curriculum and topics to be covered, noting that trainees who successfully complete the course will be awarded the AFC-recognized Level-1 coaching certificate.

The Chief Minister provided financial support of 42.250. million Kyats for the course and also presented cash award and certificates of honor to the trainers.

In addition, on the morning of June 9, the Chief Minister visited Maw faung village tract, where he inspected land areas designated for sports science facilities, the future site of a computer university, and plots of land for departmental compounds. He also checked the progress of road construction and the development of new residential plots within a 34-acre area, where mechanized earthworks are underway. Discussions were held with responsible departmental officials to coordinate and implement sector-specific development plans.
