
New Zealand health authorities on Wednesday reported 14 new coronavirus cases including 13 that were linked to one household in the nation's largest city of Auckland. The Health's Director-General said all confirmed cases will be managed in a quarantine facility. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said she's expecting the situation to worsen before it improves. Authorities on Tuesday had confirmed four cases of the virus in one Auckland household from an unknown source. The cases this week were the first known local transmission of the virus in New Zealand in 103 days.
