At the event, Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin delivered an opening speech, encouraging students to diligently study both theoretical and practical aspects of nursing and medical sciences to become exemplary public-serving nurses who can contribute to the improvement of the healthcare standards in the state and the country.

Following his speech, the Chief Minister presented financial support and allowances including rice, cooking oil, and daily meal allowances for the academic year to the school’s deputy principal and students for their multi-purpose use.

He then presented awards to students who achieved first, second, and third places in academic performance, as well as those who excelled in multiple areas for the third year of the 2024 academic session.
