








Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla together with senior military officers and officials inspected trainings of the local Navy main diving and salvage unit near Thandwe, Rakhine State and military unit building tasks on Thursday.
On arrival at the floating jetty where the local navy main diving and salvage unit to conduct navy exercises and demonstrations, the Senior General and party were welcomed by the Commandant and officials. Later, the Senior General and party observed cast and recovery training and practicing by members of Navy Special Operation Troop on the training beach of the Unit.
After the drill, the Senior General took the salute of members of the Navy Special Operation Troop who took part in the drill and gave instructions on conducting more training to enhance capabilities more than present.
The local commander reported on brief history of the military unit, military building tasks, implementation of the objectives, practicing, dispatching trainees to foreign countries, studying tours and participation in public building tasks and natural disaster preventive measures, unity, welfares of family members and conducting agriculture and breeding on manageable scale.
In response to the reports, the Senior General fulfilled the needs. The Senior General and party then proceeded to the training pool and looked into swimming trainings of Tatmadaw (Navy) members, materials and weapons that are used in salvaging and security duties, coast guard duties, mine clearance and rescue measures as well as the documentary photos of exercises and serving duties.
They then looked into trainings in underwater and swimming with underwater compass by using closed circuit. They then viewed around the 10 Men Hyperbaric Medical Treatment Chamber and Diving Tower and observed escape training of members of Tatmadaw (Navy).
The Senior General and party later observed trainings of members of Navy Special Operation Troop of Tatmadaw (Navy) at the training tower and presented cash and instructed the needs on teaching.
