Nature observers’ paradise in Ercis

Birdwatchers and nature photographers gathered in the Ercis district of Van Province in Turkiye to document the region’s bird species and contribute to a scientific inventory. A total of 44 nature observers from different provinces took part in the field study, aiming to record bird populations and gather valuable data on the area’s biodiversity.

The team conducted observations in wetlands, reed beds, and other natural habitats across the region. The initiative seeks to identify and document the diversity of bird species found in Van while contributing to ongoing scientific research and conservation efforts.
