NATO chief counters Trump's accusation of lax European participation in Iran war

NATO’s Secretary-General Mark Rutte is in Washington to ease US- Europe tensions following US President Donald Trump slamming “lack of European support” in ‘Epic Fury’ or his war on Iran.

Rutte said on Thursday that European nations are living up to their bilateral agreements with the United States when it comes to the use of bases and other support for the United States, adding that between 4000 and 5000 US planes taking off from European bases in support of Epic Fury.
