Myanmar marine products exports: Earn about 643.798 million USD in 2022-2023 fiscal year

The marine products exports earn Myanmar about 643.798 million USD between April and 10th February of 2022-2023 fiscal year. Myanmar mostly exported the marine products to Thailand, China and Japan, according to an official of Ministry of Commerce.

Len Sen Oo, Director, Ministry of Commerce, said " Myanmar able to exports marine products about 643.798 million USD to foreign markets between April to February of 2022-2023 fiscal year. Myanmar were exported about 692.363 million USD to foreign markets in 2021-2022 fiscal year and compared to the short period of last year, the export volume decreased by 48.565 million USD. To expand the foreign market, we are trying to exports the final goods of marine products instead of raw materials." 

Myanmar exports marine products through normal trade and border trade routes and also carries out local production processes systematically to be free from pathogens keeping in line with regulations set by the trade partner countries.
