Myanmar Insurance: DPM UM inspected Myanmar insurance

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Planning and Finance, U Win Shein, visited the Myanmar Insurance Headquarters in Yangon on June 2. In the meeting hall, the Director-General, General Managers, and department heads presented updates on the current operations of Myanmar Insurance.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister discussed the development of the insurance sector, the importance of insurance protection for the public, and the efficient and systematic compensation process for government and private sector losses caused by the recent Mandalay earthquake.

He urged all officials and staffs to work together to ensure that Myanmar Insurance remains a trusted institution for the public. Following this, the Deputy Prime Minister met with Myanmar Insurance staffs, explaining the government’s directives and addressing their concerns.

Later, he visited the Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank Headquarters, where the Director-General, General Managers, and department heads presented updates on the bank’s operations. The Deputy Prime Minister provided guidance based on the presentations. After that, the Deputy Prime Minister met with Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank staffs, offering instructions and addressing their concerns to ensure smooth operations.
