Mine Blast : PDF terrorists blasted a cargo train on Bago-Mawlamyine rail section

The PDF terrorists blasted a cargo train on Bago-Mawlamyine rail section on Sunday. No.687 Up-train, carrying gravel along Thae Phyu Kone-Kali route, was blasted at around 8:45 am when it reached between Thein Seik and Donwun Stations.

Due to the explosion, the engine room, and its adjacent compartments as well as five coaches were derailed. Local authorities and security forces are conducting clearing tasks while the staff form Myanma Railways are striving for speedy restoration of rail section. 

The No.81 passenger train from Yangon and No.82 passenger train from Mawlamyine, have been canceled after stopping at Theinzayat and Thae Phyu Kone Stations respectively, and the passengers got their refunds.
