Mexico coronavirus deaths pass 9,000

Mexico on Thursday registered 3,377 new cases of coronavirus and 447 deaths, bringing the total numbers to 81,400 cases and 9,044 fatalities, according to health authorities. Mexico's Health Ministry originally forecast the virus would peak in the country, before moving back the target. Around half of Mexico's official deaths from the virus were registered in the past two weeks.
