










Local Products and Market Research Committee on Thursday held a research paper reading session for the development of agro-based MSME products at the convocation hall of the Pathine University in Ayeyawaddy Region on Thursday.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win stated that in cooperation with the universities, concerned departments, entrepreneurs and Ayeyarwady Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the regional government is conducting research works. Market research along with the agriculture, livestock and product research are being conducted within the region.
The region also organized MSME fairs, exhibitions and award presentations for the development of local MSME sector. The Chief Minister urged for constant conducting of research works, applying the outcomes practically for the benefits of the region and agro-based MSME product development.
The attendees later made sectorwide discussion, concerning the agriculture and product production. Then, the Chief Minister attended a work coordination meeting of Leading Committee on successful convening of Ayeyawady Region Hluttaw Meeting at the meeting hall of the regional government office.
The Chief Minister in his capacity as Committee Chairman said the first regular meeting of third Ayeyawady Region Hluttaw will be held on 20th March regarding to the order No. 2/2026 issued on 23rd February. Hluttaw representatives are invited to attend the meeting and 7 working committees, along with the leading committee, have been formed. Working committees are urged to ensure convenience of the hluttaw representatives and safety measures. The attendees reported on the preparation measures for holding the Hluttaw Meetings and the Chief Minister coordinated the needs.
