
Member of the State Administration Council and Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut on Sunday met with Magway Region local security police force’s members and their families.
During the meeting in Magway Township, the Union Minister explained protests, violence, attacks on security force and armed attacks conditions, and, also, the ongoing tasks by the Ministry of Home Affairs since the 1st of February 2021. He also stressed importance of adherence to ethics of security force, loyalty, proper management and unity.
Also, the Union Minister urged concerned officials to make efforts for better socioeconomic status of the families of security force’s members.
The Union Minister also met with officials under the Ministry of Home Affairs and chairmen of wards and village-tracts administration committees. In this meeting, Chairman of Magway Region Administration Council reported on regional issues, and, also, the chairmen of wards and village-tracts administration committees reported on difficulties – the Union Minister coordinated the issues and difficulties reported.
The Union Minister explained the reason why the State Administration Council was formed and matters including Nine Objectives and Five-Point Road Map of the State Administration Council, inspection of voters lists and casting of votes in townships and violent actions against the State. He called for cooperation from chairmen of wards and villages administration committees with security force.
The Union Minister also visited local Tatmadaw Hospital and provided foods to locals, members of Sangha, Tatmadawmen, members of Police Force and their children. He also provided cash assistance to a medical staff who survived the attack on the 31st of May in Gangaw Township.
