Meeting In Mandalay: Senior General Calls For Cooperation

Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with interfaith groups, town elders, Mandalay Industrial Zone Management Committee and Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In the meeting at the Mandalay City Hall, the Senior General praised the history of Mandalay and favourable conditions for business, agriculture and livestock and smooth transportation for import and export. He also stressed importance of heritage conservation in Mandalay and tourism sector.

The Senior General highlighted solar electrification in the Region and the Government’s efforts for smooth transportation including railway upgrade. He also called for cooperation for the country’s development, law enforcement and peace process.

After the meeting, the Senior General presented gifts to religious associations in Mandalay and also 15 million Kyats each to the associations.

A representative from the religious associations expressed words of thanks and pledged to cooperate on religious matters and for the country’s development. There, the Senior General and attendees had tea served.
