






The Kayah State Government is making efforts to successfully implement regional development projects and address the needs of the people.
In this regard,Kayah State Chief Minister U Ant Maw, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of State Hluttaw, members of the State Government and representatives from three Hluttaws met with local residents from the villages of Zayat Phyu , Wam Kon , Upper Ma Hthaw Khu , Lower Ma Hthaw Khu , Yay Ni Kan, Law Lar Li , Poe Sar Chan and Lawpita in Ma Hthaw Khu Village Tract at the Lawpita Model Village Hall Sunday morning.
First, the State Chief Minister delivered a speech, saying that the State Government, Hluttaw representatives and all relevant government departments are taking responsibility and carrying out their respective roles for the development of the state.
He said that community development is directly proportional to stability and peace, and therefore everyone needs to participate and cooperate in maintaining stability and peace throughout the state.
He also explained the implementation of development activities in sectors such as agriculture, livestock breeding, education, healthcare and transportation; efforts to promote youth affairs and development; and measures being taken to prevent and combat narcotic drugs.
Next, the Speaker of the State Hluttaw explained the activities being undertaken by the State Hluttaw.
Afterwards, the attending residents presented the needs and requirements of their respective villages. Officials from state-level departments explained the activities currently being carried out, the tasks planned for implementation, and the arrangements for conducting field inspections and taking necessary measures.
The State Chief Minister then responded to the issues raised by explaining the measures that could be taken to address them. He coordinated with the responsible officials from the relevant departments to provide the necessary assistance and delivered concluding remarks, it is reported.
