Strengthening Cooperation : Meeting with the Head of Russia's Tuva Republic

President U Min Aung Hlaing met with Tuva Republic Head Vladislav Khovalyg in Kyzyl, Tuva, Russia, on August 22. The two sides discussed strengthening cooperation between Myanmar and Tuva in Buddhism and culture, education, tourism, agriculture, livestock farming, and mineral resources.

President U Min Aung Hlaing said Myanmar and Russia have longstanding friendly relations and that there is strong potential to expand cooperation between Myanmar and Tuva, especially in tourism, Buddhist pilgrimage, agriculture and natural resources. Following the meeting, the Tuva authorities hosted a state dinner for the Myanmar delegation, featuring traditional Tuva music and cultural performances.
