








Shan State Chief Minister U Sai Htein Soe, along with relevant officials, attended a meeting with livestock entrepreneurs at the briefing hall of the Shan Yoma Livestock Zone in Nyaungshwe Town, Kalaw District on July 22.
At the meeting, Shan State Chief Minister U Sai Htein Soe stated that the Shan Yoma Livestock Zone is a successful one. He emphasized that entrepreneurs in the zone need to utilize local raw materials produced from the agricultural sector for animal feed and sell farm-fresh eggs to the public at affordable prices. He also urged business owners to work together to further develop livestock operations.
Afterward, the Head of the State Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department presented an overview of operations at Shan Yoma Livestock Zone (1), and the livestock entrepreneurs discussed and presented their respective business activities. The State Chief Minister coordinated the necessary support based on their presentations and delivered closing remarks.
Following the meeting, the State Chief Minister and officials toured U Sai Lone's closed-system climate-controlled layer chicken farm.
From there, the Chief Minister and officials visited the site near the Viewpoint Park on the Taunggyi uphill road to inspect the installation of the "Welcome to Taunggyi City" illuminated signboard. U Thein Win, Executive Officer of the Taunggyi Township Development Department, presented the details, after which the Chief Minister and officials inspected the signboard and gave necessary instructions, it’s reported.
