Meeting with ethnic culture troupes: Nay Pyi Taw Council Chair met ethnic culture troupes

Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Tin Oo Lwin, in his capacity as Chairman of the management Committee on Organizing the 76th Anniversary of Union Day 2023 met ethnic traditional culture troupes from regions and states at Nay Pyi Taw Training Camp in Zabuthiri Township on February 4.

During the meeting, the Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman said it should make efforts by joining hand in hand with the national brethren to ensure the sustainability of ethnic unity and perpetuation of the Union in line with the national objectives of Union Day.

The collective strength of ethnic people can guarantee the proportionate development of regions and states. He also added that it also makes efforts to develop, conserve and promote the language, literature, culture and customs of national people, and cordially greeted leaders and members of ethnic traditional culture troupes.

Then, he inspected the dormitories, sub-committee offices, clinic, library and Sarpay Beikman book shop. A total of 292 members — 38 from Mandalay Region, 39 from Kachin State, 38 from Kayah State, 40 from Kayin State, 32 from Chin State, 34 from Mon State, 33 from Rakhine State and 38 from Shan State will participate in the ceremony marking the 76th Anniversary of Union Day.

The dance troupes will visit famous sites in Nay Pyi Taw such as the Maravijaya Buddha image, Uppatasanti Pagoda, Nay Pyi Taw Bodh Gaya, Hluttaw building, Defence Services Museum, National Museum, National Landmark Garden, Planetarium, Gem Museum, Nay Pyi Taw Myoma Zay, Zoological Garden, Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Park and Junction Centre.
