





At the invitation of President Mr. Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China, President U Min Aung Hlaing, who is currently on a State Visit to PRC, met and held discussions Tuesday afternoon with Premier Mr. Li Qiang at the reception hall of the Great Hall of the People.
First, the Chinese Premier warmly welcomed and greeted President U Min Aung Hlaing, and they took commemorative photographs together. Afterwards, during the discussions, the President and the Chinese Premier cordially exchanged views on enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors, reopening border trade gates, and jointly implementing systematic management of border trade in accordance with the rule of law.
They also discussed strengthening technical support related to quarantine standards for Myanmar’s agricultural and MSME products, accelerating and expanding strategic cooperation in cross-border law enforcement sectors, and speeding up implementation of the Myanmar-China Economic Corridor project, which is considered important for both countries.
In addition, they exchanged friendly views on further expanding cooperation across multiple fields. At the conclusion of the meeting, the President and the Chinese Premier warmly exchanged farewells, it’s reported.
