Marking the Union Day: Articles, painting, essay and poetry competition

Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation held the ministry-level and university-level articles, painting, essay and poetry competition, marking the 76th Union Day falling on the 12th of February 2023.

Union Minister U Khin Maung Yi on Sunday addressed the awarding ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw. In his address, the Union Minister said that   the union spirit, which is the basis of the unity of the whole nation, is the key to the long-term stability of Myanmar.

Implementing its 5-point roadmap and 12 objectives, the government has been making efforts for the country. All the ethnic people must work together in a friendly and united spirit based on the Panglong spirit, the Union Minister added.

And, the Union Minister, deputy ministers and officials presented awards to the employees of the ministry and university students who won the competition. The competition was held with the aim of awakening national and union spirit among the employees of the ministry and university students.
