Mann Shwe Set Taw Pagoda Festival: More pilgrims pay a visit at the weekend

Mann Shwe Set Taw pagoda festival is being held in Min Bu Township, Magway Region for 3 months. Nearly 4,000 pilgrims from across the country pay a visit to the pagoda festival in the weekend and around 1,000 pilgrims visit there on other days, according to the Pagoda Board of Trustees. 

Vice Chairman, Thein Hlaing, Pagoda Board of Trustees, said " In the previous weekend, 4000pilgrims with over 650 vehicles visited per day here. And we have upgraded hostels and guest houses with facilities such as installation of air-con services. Mann Shwe Set Taw Pagoda is one of the most prominent pagodas in Myanmar and we’d like to invite everyone across the country to pay a visit during the festival period."

Preparations have been made to better flow of Mann creek for the convenience of the visitors. 

Yan Aung, Pilgrim, said " I come here with my family and I’d like to invite to those who have never been to Mann Shwe Set Taw pagoda. "

At the Mann Shwe Set Taw pagoda, about 600 hostels and guest houses with over 450 sale shops are providing services for the pilgrims and visitors.
