Man arrested after knife attack injures three women in Paris

A man suspected of attacking three women with two kitchen knives in Paris has been arrested, French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez said.

The incident took place at around 11:30 a.m. near Porte de Clichy in northwest Paris. The three victims, aged 19, 24 and 36, were injured; two are in critical condition but none have life-threatening injuries. The suspect was detained by an off-duty police officer and authorities said his motive remains unclear.
