Major Renovation Works: Renovation of Nay Pyi Taw Gem Museum

Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U San Oo inspected the ongoing major renovation of the Myanmar Gems Museum in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

The museum was damaged during the Mandalay earthquake and is currently undergoing extensive repairs. During the visit, officials and engineers briefed on the construction progress, renovation priorities, and exhibition layout plans.

The Union Minister instructed to complete the project on schedule while ensuring quality standards. He also inspected work on the building's facade, new staircases, roof replacement, interior repairs, basement floor upgrades, vault renovations, and planned improvements to the museum's entrance.
