Magway Region: Tourism Visitors are invited to tourism spots

Since there are numerous well-known and prominent places in Minbu, Minhla, Magway and Yenangyaung townships of Magway region, local and international visitors are being allowed to come over.

Before the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the number of visitors saw an increase jump in Magway region offering its vibrant culture and stunning natural beauty. But starting again from the 2022 open season, domestic and foreign travelers have been flocking back.

Director, Directorate of Hotels and Tourism, Zaw Lwin Htet said " The stunning view of Ayeyarwaddy river curve can be experienced from above historic Minhla fortress, rare species of star tortoises and golden deer at the eco-tourism spot Shwesattaw natural reserve, rafting in Mann Creek, the picturesque sites from upper and lower part of Shwesattaw pagoda, the incredible sunset view on the top of Myathalun pagoda, natural valleys in Yenangyaug for adventuring purposes and profound histories."

In terms of having good geographical condition, historic ancient buildings and plenty of fresh local foods, Magway region is also no secret to the visitors. For the convenience accommodation, the hotels and guest houses totaling 57 are also in the region.
