Lopez Obrador tries out new Mexico City airport

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador visited Mexico City's upgraded Felipe Angeles airport on Wednesday. Lopez Obrador boarded a Mexican Air Force plane to "premiere" the airport's two new runways, which will be used as a transport hub for the capital.

Following an inauguration ceremony, several commercial aircraft made test landings at the airport. Lopez Obrador has promised the upgrades to the Felipe Angeles airport, located northeast of the capital, would not exceed its construction budget of 4.1 billion US dollars.
